Miniature masterpieces

NRCA's fourth annual Children's Art Contest received 30 submissions from children in grades 1-8 who are related to NRCA members and their employees. Co-sponsored by A.C.T. Metal Deck Supply, Aurora, Ill., the contest was conducted as part of NRCA's National Roofing Week held June 4-10. More than 900 votes were cast online in May to determine the three contest winners.

For the fourth year, NRCA conducted its Children's Art Contest as part of National Roofing Week, June 4-10. Co-sponsored by A.C.T. Metal Deck Supply, Aurora, Ill., and the International Roofing Expo,® the contest was open to children in grades 1-8 whose relatives work for an NRCA member company. Children were asked to illustrate the importance of what roofs do, and 30 entries were submitted. Online public voting on NRCA's website generated more than 900 votes in May. The following three entries were winners in their categories.
