Peter Kalinger is technical director of the Canadian Roofing Contractors' Association (CRCA) and has more than 30 years' experience in the roofing industry. He began his career as manager of a roofing firm and has worked for major roofing manufacturing companies. Before joining CRCA, Kalinger was director of technical services for an Ottawa, Ontario, Canada-based consulting and engineering firm.
Environmental, health and safety issues are among the significant factors affecting the Canadian roofing industry.
