Michael Kim, Ph.D., MPH

Michael Kim, Ph.D., MPH, is a senior analytics consultant with Chicago-based CNA Insurance Cos.'s actuarial department where he contributes to the strategic research and economic modeling group. Kim's work includes developing predictive models and conducting analytic research related to various initiatives, such as health care, medical spending, injury prevention and workers' compensation. Kim received a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in public health from Brown University, Providence, R.I. He also received a Ph.D. in health policy and management from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore.
