DaVinci® Roofscapes expands color profiles
DaVinci Roofscapes, Lenexa, Kan., part of Westlake Royal Building Products, has expanded the color offerings of its Multi-Width Shake profile.
Part of DaVinci’s Nature Crafted Collection, Aurora and Rock Ridge have become popular for their elegant color and richness of natural slate combined with the durability and long-term performance of composite.
Aurora combines soft mottled greens and purples, well-suited for historical renovations including Colonial, Mansard, Modern Farmhouse, Old Style and Tudor.
Rock Ridge is a blend of dark grays and blacks that emulates iron sulfide, graphite and carbon found in quarried slate. Ideal for Colonial, Federal, Greek Revival, Neoclassical, Revival and Victorian buildings.
Screwdriver extensions for hard-to-reach locations
GripEdge™ Tools has launched the 9-Piece RPT 1/4" & 3/8" Drive Long Ball Star Bit Socket Set designed for confined, hard-to-reach locations.
Second-generation Ball Star geometry allows up to 15.5 degrees of pivot, allowing for engagement at angled or obstructed fasteners where conventional bits can’t reach.
The patented GripEdge Rounding Prevention Technology is engineered to maximize contact with a fastener and reduce the risk of rounding while delivering up to two times more grip on intact fasteners than standard tools. Large stamped-size markings with black ink allow for readability in dark or messy conditions.
Eyewear made for adjustability
Brass Knuckle® has created new eyewear that promotes comfort and all-day wear.
Brass Knuckle Licorice Glasses can change shape to increase comfort throughout the workday. The length of the temples, PivotEase™ nosepiece and nonslip nose pad can all be adjusted to fit the wearer.
The glasses reportedly have standard anti-fog performance and resist abrasion, chemicals and ultraviolet rays. The Licorice Safety Glasses reportedly meet industry test requirements. The glasses are also available in a smoke lens that allows only 18% of light to pass through.
