The McCain Auditorium at Kansas State University, Manhattan, recently received upgraded smoke vents.

Using a crane and four-wheel cart to transport six BILCO® smoke vents to the roof, workers from Diamond Roofing, Manhattan, installed the vents with fully enclosed curbs, an electric Thermolatch® and safety rails. To protect the cable and pulley systems under the vents, employees custom built a work platform.

Work was performed during August to minimize disruptions to students and the campus.
