When the University of Houston's football team was stranded in Austin, Texas, during Hurricane Harvey, Kidd Roofing, Austin, hosted a donation drive with the Houston Cougars players.

Kidd Roofing accepted donations at its north Austin office while Travis Roofing Supply, Austin, took in donations at its south Austin location. Baylor® University, Waco, Texas; Southern Methodist University, Dallas; Texas Tech University, Lubbock; and University of Texas at Austin helped the cause by donating their large football trailers so the companies could load them with donations.

On Friday morning, Sept. 1, a large convoy of trucks delivered the much-needed supplies to Houston.
