Close-up

As part of a community outreach program, New Jersey's Somerset County Educational Services Commission launched a project to build a career center to provide vocational opportunities for at-risk students. The career center was designed aesthetically and functionally with the community in mind.

The entrance features Garland's R-Mer® Span standing-seam metal panel with a 7-foot radius, symbolizing an outreaching arm. The project's goal was to create an inviting space where students can learn, become engaged in the larger community and graduate more prepared to meet the demands of an increasingly competitive workplace.
