Rutter Roofing, Malvern, Pa., recently awarded Lower Pottsgrove Township, Pa., resident Joe Oberholtzer (pictured with his wife, Shannon, in the center with the Rutter Roofing team) with a new CertainTeed Integrity Roof System as part of Rutter Roofing’s annual veteran-aimed Memorial Day Giveaway promotion.

Oberholtzer is a retired U.S. Army sergeant who served from 2001-09 and received several honors for bravery and humanitarian work. He was unknowingly entered into the giveaway by his father-in-law.

The new roof system was installed this summer and came at a great time when the Oberholtzers had to cancel their honeymoon during the COVID-19 pandemic and were planning to use the vacation time to repair their 30-year-old leaking roof.
