As part of Lowe’s goal to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, the company announced it will add rooftop solar panel installations to 174 stores and distribution centers nationwide.
The rooftop installations include 107 facilities in California, 36 facilities in Illinois and 20 facilities in New Jersey, including Morganville, N.J., as shown in the photo. Once each site is completed, the panels will provide about 90% of the energy used at each location.
