On Friday, April 13, Korellis Roofing Inc., Hammond, Ind., held its 18th Annual Safety Fest, where more than 120 sheet metal workers, masons, carpenters and roofing professionals gathered in the Korellis Roofing Training Center for a full day of learning and instruction.
Instructors provided on-site demonstrations regarding proper fall-protection techniques, guardrail setup, asbestos awareness training, how to administer tourniquets, proper load securement and how to properly extinguish fires.
