Close-up

On Feb. 15, during NRCA's 124th Annual Convention and the 2011 International Roofing Expo® (IRE) in Las Vegas, the IRE held its second annual Community Service Day. The IRE, NRCA's Community Service and Disaster Relief Fund Committee, and Rebuilding TogetherNRCA's national charity partner, partnered with 40 expo attendees and exhibitors to perform repairs on the homes of two elderly veterans, Jack Brown and Bruce Dahlin. Here, Kent Tolley, vice president of Quality Tile Roofing Inc., Boise, Idaho (second from left); Bill Good, NRCA's executive vice president (second from right); and two local Rebuilding Together volunteers shovel gravel into a wheelbarrow; the gravel was used to landscape the front lawn of Dahlin's home.
