The newly constructed 35,000-square-foot Riverview Branch Library in Riverview, Fla., was designed to meet U.S. Green Building Council Inc.’s Silver LEED® standards.

More than 44,000 square feet of Field-Lok .040-inch-thick aluminum standing seam panels manufactured by ATAS International Inc., Allentown, Pa., in dove grey were mechanically fastened by Alpha Roofing and Sheet Metal LLC, Orlando, Fla., followed by photovoltaic panels.

The library features eight meeting rooms, a recording studio, two editing suites, a bookstore and an electric car charging station. The project won ATAS International’s 2020 project of the year in the commercial roofs category.
