After decades of enduring direct sunlight, snowstorms, strong winds and hail, the roof system on Thomas Jefferson High School, Denver, had been compromised and was at risk of leaking.

To replace the failing roof, Denver Public Schools chose a Johns Manville built-up roof system consisting of a GlasPly® Premier Type VI base sheet, perlite cover board, two layers of ENRGY 3® insulation and four plies of GlasPly Premier Type VI felt installed by NRCA member D&D Roofing Inc., Commerce City, Colo.

For its workmanship and ability to meet project deadlines, D&D Roofing was honored with a 2015 Gold Quality Asphalt Roofing Case Study Award from the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association. For a complete list of winners, log on to www.professionalroofing.net.
