Close-up

Founded in 1999, Green Bay Converting Inc., Green Bay, Wis., is a leading independent provider of printed packaging and sanitary tissue products. In 2013, the growing company moved to a larger and more functional production facility, converting a vacant metal building into suitable production space.

Schuh Construction Inc., Seymour, Wis., converted the building using a 157,200-square-foot Butler Manufacturing™ metal building system and replaced the roof systems on two existing structures with Butler Manufacturing standing-seam metal MR-24® Roof Systems, totaling 578,150 square feet. The new roof systems accommodated an additional insulation layer, enabling Green Bay Converting to enhance its buildings' energy efficiency, a key concern for the company.
