Close-up

Ten miles out of Memphis International Airport, Memphis, Tenn., all westbound planes bank and level out over GreenTech Automotive (GTA) Inc.'s Horn Lake, Miss., factory.

Recognizing the long-range visibility and untapped market of window passengers who fly along the same path every day, GTA hired RoofAds, Woodside, Calif., to superimpose GTA's logo over its factory's 380,000-square-foot roof. RoofAds then applied two coats of Henry® Co.'s 558 Water-Based Aluminum Roof Coating. The project took five days to complete—one to power wash the area and create the outline grid and four days to paint the sign. The installation was cleared by the Federal Aviation Administration and Department of Transportation.

Now, passengers seated on the right side of planes can see the feng shui-inspired logo.
